Training programs are important for capacity building and strengthening health services during humanitarian crises. Changes on the ground and the low number of health professionals available to meet the complex needs of the population require training programs. UOSSM-Canada delivers training programs to match country-specific needs. 

Training Project in Aden, Yemen

Building on academic and international standards, the online training program provides knowledge and skills training to humanitarian actors, community members, and governmental employees to address needs in Yemen. Training topics include nutrition, health, protection, and administrative training relating to the emergency context. Training support initiatives include the delivery of an online training program consisting of 280 training hours and also supports the establishment of a training centre.
