However, on the rare occasion that UOSSM-Canada receives donations and, for various reasons, is not able to spend them for the specified cause, donations will be allocated towards other most-needed causes.

Yes, we are currently active in crisis zones including Gaza and Syria, but have also reached Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Turkey, and Yemen during past projects. Our programs are designed based on the needs of each region. Visit our Our Work page for a detailed list of project locations and services.
When you donate to UOSSM Canada, you can choose where your support goes. Including Gaza, Syria, Malnutrition projects, or wherever the need is greatest. Your donations help us fund vital projects like re-operating hospitals, running medical clinics, and supplying life-saving equipment such as medical supplies, dialysis machines and VAC (vacuum-assisted closure) wound care devices. Every contribution directly supports health services in crisis zones.
We publish annual reports, follow CRA compliance, and share real-time updates through our email list, website, and social media. You can always reach out to us directly.
Yes, we accept Zakat and ensure it is used according to Islamic guidelines. You can select “Zakat” as the donation type at checkout.

UOSSM Canada is committed to ensuring that 100 % of your donation goes directly to the cause you choose. Our board members, consisting of medical professionals, generously donate annually to cover all administrative expenses. In 2024, their contributions fully covered our admin costs, so you can give with confidence knowing your donation is going directly and completely to projects on the ground.
Yes. UOSSM Canada is a registered Canadian charity (Charity No. 836143388 RR0001). Eligible one-time donations over $20 receive an official tax receipt at the end of the month. Recurring donations receive an official tax receipt at the end of the year.
