The UOSSM Primary Care Update will highlight how to implement advances in the diagnosis and management of common conditions in primary care, such as diabetes, obesity, Covid-19, and osteoporosis, with a special focus on the needs of vulnerable populations. The annual primary care update will also address the risks and benefits of menopausal hormone therapy as summarized in the new SOGC guidelines. In addition, we will discuss important considerations to diagnose and determine the appropriate course of treatment for depression in vulnerable populations. Our annual primary care update attracts a wide variety of healthcare professionals and given the virtual format this year, we anticipate attendees from all over Canada.
