Code Blue: Healthcare Under Fire
The Code Blue Conference comes after the worst year of attacks on healthcare in recorded history. In Syria alone there were over 250 attacks on medical facilities in 2016. The purpose is to bring together the brightest minds in Canadian NGOs, Government, Press and International Humanitarian Law to discuss the subject and find tangible solutions.
Speakers and participants will be encouraged to dive deep into the technical issues and engage in vigorous debate. We hope this conference will be the first of many meetings to unify sectors and lay a foundation towards ultimately solving a problem which affects us all.
