UOSSM-Canada is helping to bring essential surgery equipment to the orthopedic and surgical departments at Gaza's Dar Al Shifa hospital. Dar Al Shifa is the largest and busiest medical health centre in the Gaza Strip. 

Increased hostilities and airstrikes have damaged multiple healthcare clinics and hospitals across the Gaza Strip. Besides the shortage of medicine and physical damage to the hospital and its equipment, doctors have been killed- resulting in a great loss of medical knowledge and expertise. UOSSM-Canada will also provide medical education and training.
