BREAKING: Al Kiwan Hospital Hit by Airstrikes, Destroyed

Geneva, Switzerland- At 9:21 PM on November 24th, the Al Kiwan Hospital in Kansafra, Idlib was hit by an airstrike and destroyed. The facility was evacuated prior to the strike and no casualties were reported. This attacks marks the 66th medical facility attacked since April 2019.

BREAKING: Densely Packed Qah IDP Camp Hit By Missiles Today - Idlib, Syria

Geneva, Switzerland- Today at 8:24 P.M. Damascus time on November 20, 2019, surface missiles struck the Qah Camp for the displaced in northern Idlib, killing/ maiming scores and causing widespread fires. At least 12 were killed and over 20 were wounded, the majority of victims were children and women. The missile landed near the Qah Maternity and Children’s Hospital causing minor damage to the facility.

BREAKING : Children’s Hospitals and Kafr Nabl Hospital Hit by Airstrikes Syria

Geneva, Switzerland- Two hospitals were targeted by airstrikes today, November 6, 2019 in Idlib, Syria. This brings the total to 4 facilities bombed in 48 hours.
 
At around 1:30 a.m. Damascus time, two airstrikes, ten minutes apart, targeted the Shannan Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Areeha, Idlib. At least three medical staff were wounded. The hospital was severely damaged and put out of service. There were no casualties as the hospital was immediately evacuated by emergency workers after the first airstrike. Part of the building went up in flames. The hospital was partially supported by UOSSM.

BREAKING: 2 UOSSM Medical Facilities Bombed in Idlib, Syria

Geneva, Switzerland- Two UOSSM medical facilities were attacked today in Jisr Al Shughour, Idlib in Syria.

An ambulance point was hit by artillery strikes at 1:45 p.m. Damascus time. Minor damages were reported and the facility was put out of service. The ambulance center is supported by UOSSM.

BREAKING: PHC SHELLED IN SYRIA, DENTIST AND SIX PATIENTS INJURED

Geneva, Switzerland- On October 3 at 1:30 PM Damascus time, the Maarat Al Nouman Primary Health Care Centre in Maarat Al Nouman, Syria, was hit by artillery shelling and heavily damaged. One dentist and six patients were wounded in the attack. No fatalities were reported.

BREAKING: Hospital Bombed in Northern Syria

Geneva, Switzerland- At 10:30 am Damascus Time on September 13, the Kiwan Hospital in Kanasarfa Village, Idlib was bombed by an artillery strike.  The facility was moderately damaged. One patient was injured by the attack with no fatalities reported. This marks the 52nd  medical facility attacked since the beginning of the military campaign on April 28, 2019.

PRESS RELEASE: Women’s Hospital Targeted by Seven Air Strikes in Syria; Newborns Evacuated

Geneva, Switzerland- The Iman Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital in Orum Al Kubra in the Aleppo countryside was targeted today, August 31, 2019, by seven airstrikes at 1 a.m. Damascus time. The hospital was damaged and put out of service. No casualties were reported but two patients and one staff were injured. Newborn babies that were still in incubators had to be evacuated.

PRESS RELEASE: 49th Medical Facility Targeted With Two Airstrikes in Syria

Geneva, Switzerland- The Alzerbeh Primary Health Care Center was directly targeted today, August 30, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. Damascus time with two airstrikes, putting it out of service. No casualties were reported as the center was closed today. The center was completely destroyed. The PHC was located in the Aleppo countryside. This marks the 49th medical facility to be attacked since April 28.

BREAKING: Outrage Over Pediatric Hospital Bombed in Syria

Geneva, Switzerland- On August 27 at 10:35 pm Damascus Time, the Al- Ghadafa Pediatric and Gynecology Hospital in Maarrat Al Nouman, Syria was hit by four airstrikes and put out of service.  The hospital was evacuated earlier and sustained heavy damage. A watchman was injured by the airstrikes and no casualties were reported.  In the past 10 days, intense bombing in Maarrat Al Nouman has also led to over 200,000 people becoming newly internally displaced. This marks the 48th medical facility to be bombed since April 28.
