Syria Medical Mission
With generous support from Islamic Relief Canada, UOSSM Canada conducted a medical mission to northwest Syria from May 8 to 15, 2025, aimed at delivering specialized ENT and ophthalmology services while enhancing local medical capacity. The mission achieved its dual objectives of capacity building and service delivery, with a total of 534 consultations and 116 surgical procedures completed in an underserved area.
Medical Mission to Al-Hikma Eye and Ear Hospital
UOSSM Canada conducted a 7-day mission to Idlib, Syria, providing quality specialized healthcare to those in need. Over the course of 5 working days, teams delivered 534 ENT and ophthalmology consultations and performed 116 surgical operations including major ENT surgeries, cataract treatments, corneal treatments, retina procedures, and surgical implants.
